"All right men, a few weeks ago we found the notorious pirates Grass Locust. Your mission is to eliminate them. Lieutenant Ikera will be your commander. Treat him with utmost respect, and follow his orders. You will be leaving in 3 days." With that, the general walked back into the shadows.
"YES SIR!" replied the marines.
"Okay, Private Fujiwaruno, gather supplies for our journey, and Major Chesso, gather some men for this mission. Dismissed." After saying that, Kiroy left. For what reason we shall not know...
3 days later
"Alright men-" Kiroy walked off the boat and into the water.* "Glubph! Urgh...uh.....today we will be hunting down one of the pirate crews with the most bounty in the North blue. We will soon be casting off as soon as Private Fujiwaruno retruns. Major Chesso, keep the men in line as I go look for him!" Kiroy swam back to the shore and ran back to the marine base
*Kiroy has no DF yet. He gets one later.

"All right then. Cast off!" A few days passed after shoving off, and soon one of his crew mates came to him and asked, "Sir, we have been sailing for 5 days, and still no sign of them or land! Should we head back?" Kiroy looked at him and said "To turn back means to give up. We still have plenty of supplies, so we have no need to turn back."
After a few weeks at sea, they finally spot an island. Since Kiroy was the navigator, and knowing his navigation, they were hopelessly lost. The island was a horrible desert, with only a small forest on it. "This kind of reminds me of Alabasta..." Said Kiroy. "Just no kingdom and Crocodile...thats good...at least..." He finds a fruit on the ground. "Hm...strange looking fruit...what could it be?" He takes a bite out of it, then falls over, and gets back up in about...1/4 of a second. "WTF!" He yelled out(no he did not swear). "That was weird.." He walked down to the beach for a swim, and nearly drowns. "Well this sucks...I must have eaten one of those devil fruit things...at least I got faster...no that I needed to....Hey Chesso, wanna spar? I'll keep my swords sheathed so you won't get hurt."
